That’s exactly what I did with one of my sons!

A week ago, I asked my 2 boys to share 10 activities they wanted to do with me this summer!

I got the list from my youngest and I hope to make all of them happen over the next 3 months. Not in a “Ugh gotta do this parenting thing” kinda way, but in a:

I Get To Spend Time With My Kids

excitement! Some of the things on the list are simple and free!

Today, with my youngest son – we unexpectedly cross something off his list while hanging out at:

Six Flags

Oh, a time was had! We rode soo many rides! We ran around and walked in the rain!

I highly recommend getting a fast pass and a day eatings pass.

This is what it’s about! Spending time with loved one and creating core memories – the FUNomenal kind.

If you have children in your life – ask them for a list of activities they would want to do with you! You don’t have to do it all in a day or week – just look at it from time to time and see if you can make one of them happen every couple weeks!

Having children that want to spend time with you is a gift? Unwrap it with care!

Before I go! Here are 10 things I’m thankful for today. I highly recommend you get into a gratitude practice. It will help you to see the gifts in the present! God is moving in your life.
