When they invite you to play in their younger years -> make space to do it and with excitement.

Roles will reverse.

There will come a time when we will want them to come visit us with excitement, not out of begging and obligation.

Last night, I was on my computer and my kids kept saying “Are you done?!? Come to the tent!”.

Yall, when I got up they were ecstatic.

They were rolling around in the tent like wild lion cubs!

& get this!

They were all snuggled up with me! All three! From 13 to 5. And even the one who be like “nah”.

That is wealth! When the ones you love don’t want to be anywhere else! Togetherness galore!

More, more, more!

I so appreciated the snuggles!

Made me feel like a lioness with her cubs!

So much so that we watched some lion videos in the tent. Started to get violent. 🤣
