Take bold action – even if loud and wrong!

I’ve learned that in a recent class. That it’s important to make strong choices, own them, and forge ahead!

If you claim to love yourself – yet refuse to take radical, rapid action to transform your life.

Why?

Afraid of being truly seen?

Afraid of receiving?

Afraid of healing?

We have to look in the mirror. Not to hype ourselves up, but to identify that which is out of place – to have a clearer image.

The goal of the mirror is to improve and refine, not stand there and say “Ooh, I’m fine”.

Pray and ask God to show you the blocks; so you can jet out the blocks.

Evaluate where you are and why you are still there.

Do you know there are people who work jobs they hate their whole one beautiful life?

Do you know there are people who stay in toxic relationships their whole one beautiful life?

Do you know there are people who dream big who live small their whole one beautiful life?

Personally, I understand I’ve been waiting to be chosen by others due to wounds I’ve received in my life (primarily from men, multiple). The one who left when I thought they never would. The one who promised to pray, but instead preyed. The one who vowed to be only mine, but attempted to get another “dime”.

I currently find myself hiding behind classes instead of actively submitting in my dream.

This week, I realized I’ve been around here waiting to be chosen for opportunities. Show up, play the role, and hope the red seas part. Allowing my future to be decided by another person. Like a ooh, wonder if they will pick me – energy! But the thing about that is -> you don’t know how to act to get them to not only choose you, but to stay.

Exhausting.

When Moses was at the Red Sea he was waiting there for God to do something – God basically told him ” Bruh, why you coming to me. Move ahead! You got the staff – use it!”. Moses had to move in his chosen by God; empowered state. Not wait.

“But Moses told the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the LORD’s salvation, which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians you see today, you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the Israelites to go forward. And as for you, lift up your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. ” Exodus 14: 13 – 16

The healed place to be is from the identity of:

Already Chosen.

In moving this way, it’s not a matter of being picked for opportunity – but seeing clearly enough to know you are the gift and you are deciding if you want to give that person, organization – the opportunity to unwrap you.

Are they worthy of your presence for even a second?

Going from passive pick me to active choosing.

Mirror Mirror on the wall – show me my flaws so I can go ball!

Stay dressed & never to impress. You are the empress!
