The best way to learn is to:
Immerse
yourself in the experience. I’ve found that…
… allowing a bit of struggle carves deeper neuropathway grooves. Plus, it makes the achievement of mastery more sweet.
I’m working to memorize a scene from the play “Criminal Hearts” – the lines of “Ata”, specifically.
My method looks like code, but it’s actually my secret to memorizing lines.
A technique I’ve learned is to write the script by hand using only the first letter of each word.
Example ⬇️
Ata: YWHASA, TR, I I?
(You were here about smoke alarms, that’s right, isn’t it?)

It forces my brain to fill in the gaps rather than just reading lines. 🧠✨
I’ve been going over a few lines with my daughter, Queen Glory. She was improvising as the other character while I practiced the real Ata lines.
Practice for me and play for us both. Now with these set of lines – I’ll also think of Queen Glory. 🥰
If you’re memorizing lines – consider this code technique! It’s like a brain puzzle!
