I wonder how long I am going to go:
Without A Car
?!?!? I’ve gotten used to pedaling around town and not having to get gas!
& I actually appreciate the workout. I purchased a preloved Burley trailer so I can bike around with my daughter and carry goods. It’s soo cayute! It is bright yellow and get this – it has a:
Trunk
I got it for a deal at a local sports good resale shop!
A month(ish) ago, I biked to the grocery store and as I pedaled – I wondered how I would bike back with groceries!

As I pulled into the plaza with the grocery store, I remembered there was a sports resale shop on the corner! I decided to stop in and saw the Burley! The guys that worked there put it on my bike to test it out – I ended up purchasing it and never taking it off! See how God provided!!!! I got the Burley for $120ish – right before grocery shopping.
Check out the video below! It’s the day I got the Burley and Queen Glory (my daughter) got a test ride!
Since then, I’ve put color flags and reflectors on the Burley Trailer. I have my bike lock. I will bike around with a speaker. I secured a helmet for my daughter. I have a rainbow bike basket! I feel so free with this bike!

Although, I do miss having a car at times -> I appreciate this new journey. I get to use my body. I’m in nature feeling the wind and bug splatter, bahahahaha! I feel closer to people – even with a simple smile or “Hi!” as we cross paths. I’ve gotten to connect with new people through ride sharing. Yall, I’ve even had a neighbor offer to let me drive her BMW by myself to get to boxing, if needed. I’ve declined the offer – but am thankful for support through the various channels that God uses.
Those that have given me rides know that I will not feel any offense if they don’t want to pick me up. Also, I do my part to “pay them” creatively. For example, the boxer at my gym who often drives me to 6:30am class – gets a water and snack bar from me. The woman who has a large vehicle to take herself and her three children – plus me and my three children to boxing multiple times a week – just got a little girls dress from me (brand new with tags) to give to her niece and a couple shirts for her son. I was cleaning out my clothes and found those items – decided to offer them to her fist. These kind people aren’t requiring payment, but I like looking for creative ways to express my thanks beyond using my words. I’m able to do this with items I have on hand.

At some point, I will get back to searching for a vehicle, but my attention is elsewhere. I’ve been making updates at The Billionaire Bubble and getting ready for fall/winter. I just cannot take on too much more! I have a lot of different things in the air and searching for a car – is not at the top. Perhaps, in November before the first snow? We’ll see how it goes with this cash flow increase mission.
For now, I bike myself plus my daughter, Glory. I am considering getting 2 electric scooters plus helmets, for my 2 sons (12 and 9).
I am resourceful and have multiple plans to support myself plus fam bam.

If I need groceries and don’t want to bike. I’ll use Instacart, Uber, or ask a neighbor if I can ride with them. For church, I’ll walk to the one right across the street or rideshare to the one I attend about 30 mins away. For boxing, I’ll continue to rideshare or Uber. There are also other public drop off & pick up services that I can use for local errands. There are so many ways for me to live my life without owning a vehicle. It takes creativity, planning, a willingness to ask for help, and of course, God’s continued favor!
Yall, I might not get a new car unless it’s one with doors that open up!?! Butterfly doors, transformation.
