You are not:
Six Feet Under
or yet, crispified back into a fine powdery dust …
that family is going to fuss about where to dump or store you!*
Right now, you are alive -> not in a container! … Unless, of course you have placed yourself in one mentally.
Renew your mind with God’s Word. Look at the lives of those around you who have overcome seemingly impossible circumstances and blows to their life!
Choose to celebrate!
I’m reminded of this verse in the Bible:
This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalm 118:24
Grief. Pain. Anger. All of the “this ain’t fair” feelings are part of life. Feel them fully. Give yourself time to process, but then choose to celebrate that you are alive.

By no means am I saying this is easy. Please:
Remove The Expectation Of Ease
Jesus told us in the book of John:
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. – John 16:33
Having trouble isn’t a possibility – it is a guarantee. We must be strong and courageous!
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. – Joshua 1:9
Strength may come in the form of choosing to get up out of bed, even if only for 1 hour, to celebrate being in the land of the living in spite of all the hits it’s been giving you!
Think of each day as an opportunity to birth something new.
You know how on birthdays many people get all hype to celebrate the day?!? What a tragedy it is to not hype up the other 364 days of the year!
To help yourself remember to celebrate each day – head to the “birthday section” of your favorite store and look for a button/pin that says:
It’s My Day
Wear it on any day you choose! Be prepared for people to wish you “Happy Birthday”, bahahahaha! Many are conditioned to associate that type of declaration with birthdays. You can even give the button/pin to someone you know who needs a nudge to keep living!!!
Try this out and let me know how it goes in the comments!
