From Mourning To Making With Jesus

About last night/early this morning?!

You guys!

Yesterday,  I did my daily blog post just pouring out my heart to God.

Sharing that I wanted to be done and needed Jesus to come get me across the threshold. I wrote about wanting sackcloth- being in that state of just mourning life.

( I actually got on Amazon and was looking for some 🤣 – just dramatic and extra)

Not long after I started picking up and got my creative projects laid out.

I had a pile of sweatshirts that I wanted to redesign. Never done that before. I grabbed scissors and got to cutting.

I go so caught up in creating that I was up til 5:30am!

One of the sweatshirts I cut up had ” In My Jesus Era” on the back. I cut off the hoodie, making it into a scoop neck – wearing that declaration on the front.  I went to my reseller clothing room and found an oversized dress – I styled it under the sweatshirt. As I was doing so – it hit me that it reminded me of sackcloth! Felt rough, yet comfortable with texture.

See how God is always on the move and truly with us as we are doing stuff that seems “random” and “unrelated”.

The headpiece I’m wearing is the sweatshirts hoodie restyled.

I’m so excited to share with you the creations that were birthed last night.

Give Jesus your pain in real time…pour it out continually he is faithful to redeem!

If you have some old sweatshirts- please don’t get rid of them yet. Create something new.

I’ll do a video walk through of my designs to help get you started.
