From Rejection to Redirection: How I’m Claiming Digital Territory (And You Can Too)

Too often we spend energy trying to fit into established systems:

What if those rejections (aka redirections) are funneling you to create something of your own?

Wouldn’t it be great to serve and be compensated out of you being yourself?

Say yes to your vision!

This does not have to be wishful thinking or reserved for those who “got it like that.” If you have time to apply to companies and scroll mindlessly – you have time to build something of your own.

The Strategy: Breathe Life Into What You Already Have

Tip: Don’t just look forward; look back. Use “batching” to link new posts to existing content you may have to ensure your past work keeps working for you.

In this video featured on Lonisa Mari YouTube, I share my feelings about getting another redirection and how I used my “pain” to make progress on my own lane. I got a decline email then got to writing blog posts. I then took my kids and I out to celebrate at The Cheesecake Factory – for my ability to endure the crushing.

After demolishing dessert – I came back to The Billionaire Bubble (my dwelling space), spent about 4 hours scheduling my Saturday YouTube community posts for 2026. I drafted posts that linked to previously recorded YouTube shorts. Used what I already have and added fresh flavor!

The Mindset: Celebrate the Grit

Tip: Don’t wait for the “Yes” from a company or person to celebrate. When you endure a “crushing” rejection but choose to create anyway, treat yourself (even if it’s just Celebration Cheesecake). It’s a prophetic declaration of where you are going.

Learn how I used what I already created in 2025 to build future content. There is nothing I’m doing that you cannot do.

Lean into creating content over content consumption for just a season – it may yield lifelong fruit that serves others on a massive scale and pays you while you sleep and play with your crew.

The Vision: Think in “Billionaire Bubbles”

Tip: Set massive, long-term goals. While others are thinking about next week, aim to have your digital territory “piped” a year in advance. Scheduling your content through 2026 isn’t just organization—it’s building a legacy that frees up your future time.

It’s time for you to take digital territory!
