Barely Keeping Up?!? Pause, Pray, and Play Keepy Uppy

Making time for simple play each day – can be:

It can be challenging …

to play “Keepy Uppy” when barely keeping up with life.

We should acknowledge that reality with grace.

Pause. Stop. Feel it.

Ask God to help you remain childlike in your adulting life! Then in faith – leap into it!

Trust that he has you even if it doesn’t feel or look like it!

Run into a child’s carefree world!

Go play – even if for a moment. Don’t delay.

Accept your children’s invitation to play – they give it often.

Something my 4 years young daughter, Queen Glory, asks me regularly at bedtime is:

“What are we going to do tomorrow?”

She shares her ideas and goes to bed excited for what’s ahead! I listen and seek to make at least some of her desires happen! & I’m a flawed human (Mathew 7:11)! Surely, God is doing this and beyond for us!

Even when I cannot make all my daughter’s desires happen she categorizes most days as:

“This is the best day ever!”.

She lives in wonder despite the thunders of life!

Sweet dreams don’t just have to happen when we sleep they can happen in daylight too.
