Father, I Trust You

Do you believe that God knows best?

As I was walking around at the …

boxing gym this morning I was thinking about how I trust God more than myself.

I then thought you know what – he writes the best storylines. I mean imagine the best writer you know – where do you think they got that skill from?

Themselves?!?

Absolutely not.

God is the best author. Consider the greatest love story ever written:

The Bible

Have you seen the rainbow showing how God’s word is interconnected?

One prominent public thinker has referred to the Bible as the ‘first hyperlinked book‘.

It’s so beautiful!

It makes me want to just rest in his presence. Trust his authorship over my life.

If God can hyperlink across generations – can he not do the same with our one life?

Now, to be clear – there are many experiences that I’ve had that have absolutely crushed me. I don’t understand fully why I had to have them – but that does not block the trust I have in following Jesus.

Do you trust that all your experiences are being orchestrated for God’s glory?

Be honest.

Cry. Laugh. Grieve. Kick. Scream.

Let it out.

Be real – after all isn’t that intimacy.

Into Me You See

I have told God multiple times that I don’t trust him. I’ve asked him ” Why you let this happen?!?”. I’ve shouted about how I’m about to make x, y, and z happen – only to be brought to my knees again.

As a woman that values empowerment – I know that I am powerless unless God moves.

You can do all the thingz, but if God has bolted a path – it is shut! We gotta know how to sit down somewhere – like a toddler – and just wait until God is ready for the weight of HIS glory to be revealed!

The Father can handle you fully, after all he formed you. He is well acquainted with your story.

You think you “crashing out” – is too much for the maker of heaven and Earth?

That’s exactly why he be grounding us bahahahahahaha

He knows how to wrestle – see the story of Jacob in the Bible. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Let’s not be shooketh if we gotta a little bit of a limp inwardly – in pursuit of what God has for us.

That is evidence of a gritty fully contact connection!

Trust that he is not finished. Don’t see how your experiences connect?

Samesies.

Keep casting all your cares.

It is written:

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:7

God’s timing is impeccable. There are no barriers to what he can do.

Perhaps we are drowning in sorrows because we do not believe that God has properly authored our tomorrow?

We are faltering on the water after singing with our whole chest -> “Oceans” – declaring “take me deeper than my feet could ever wonder…”. Then get out there and decide we done obeying. Bruh. Sis. We are really something else! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Look at your life. Do you really want to be in control? bahahahahaha

You and I both know we don’t know what we’re doing. C’mon – come to terms.

Personally, I don’t want to force anything – I only want to flow with the Holy Spirit.

I’m choosing to rock with “The Rock Of Ages” who has conquered every page! ChamPAIN to Champaign!

Let’s pray.

Father, Thank you for this time with you. Bless the person reading this with a special experience that lets them know you see them. Help our unbelief. May we feel your love and desire you more than answers. In Jesus name, Amen.
