Yesterday, I shared how I returned to a spot that I discovered due to a photoshoot. The:
Final Images Are In
from that photoshoot. They are breathtaking!
Early this summer, I was invited to participate in a photoshoot. I didn’t see this opportunity coming. It was such a treat!!!
There was a designated stylist for myself and the other modeling women to work with – to share our outfit ideas ; making sure we understood the assignment and were unified in appearance. I definitely dropped the ball and contacted the stylist about 3 hours before the photoshoot to make sure my look was on par, thankfully I understood the requirements and was good to go with the look I had in mind. Whew!!!
The color scheme was white and tan – neutrals and linens. I wore a champagne tulle dress – turned top and paired it with tan pin-striped wide leg pants. The look was very flowy.
I’m not able to share the group or themed shots as they will be released officially as part of a women’s conference marketing campaign. The theme is:
Upon This Rock
Centering on Jesus being the only firm foundation that remains solid through the valleys, peaks, storms, and tranquil seasons of life. People, places, and possessions may come and go, but God’s presence remains.
The anchoring scripture is:
“He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.”
The photo/video shoot was set along a beautiful shoreline with rocks and sand. The organizer took the time to arrive beforehand to set up a long low rise intimate gathering table setting, the kind where you are sitting on the ground directly on blankets (no chairs). Oh, it was giving south of France fancy! Straight up Pinterest goals! The props were proppin’! There was a large tan umbrella, coolers, sparkling water, and greenery to set the scene.
There were group shots of various kinds taken and individual shots. We were able to really lean into this moment as there were not a lot of people around. We were flowing and following the direction of the photographer. Also, eating the snacks that were provided. No hangriness here.
It’s funny because these were lifestyle photos – so we were posing like we were talking to each other and hugging each other, just being cuddly. We were holding hands and being unified, as we should be as the body of Christ. I’ve seen many of these women around, but didn’t know them. Still don’t for real. During the photoshoot, I began to connect deeply with one of the ladies. Photos were being taken for us to act like we were talking, but like…me and this one lady really were. At one point she had to remind me to do follow the photographers instruction. bahahahahaha, I was really yappin!
We each were able to take solo shots. I was asked if I was willing to get in the water and dance. My response was yes! I didn’t care about getting wet.
Someone acknowledged my:
“Free Spirit”
way of being.
Here are my solo shots – which I’m permitted to share.

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. – Psalm 18:2

For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.- 2 Corinthians 3:17

Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31

I am so thankful for the opportunity to have been included in the photoshoot. It was such beautiful weather and great fellowship! Afterwards, I took myself on a solo date to The Cheesecake Factory. Going from a beachfront photoshoot to a yummy dinner – felt like a dream. Even the waiter at dinner was so kind and attentive to me. (That’s another story!)
I look forward to more freelance modeling and finer dining!!!
It’s amazing how much planning goes into events. The captured photos/videos are for a conference in Spring 2026! Talk about being locked in on a vision and being prepared – nearly 9 months in advance of the event. The group and aesthetic photos will be released closer to the end of 2025 and up through to the event. I’m excited to see how that goes!
That day of the photoshoot we kept talking about how it would be a good spot to come back too – to just relax and be. The area is high class and the water is calm. I’m so glad I made time to go back to this beachfront yesterday. I plan to return to this spot -with my kids – before summer ends.
May this post be your reminder to build your life on Jesus and not the fleeting things of this world. Cling to Jesus – not people, places, and possessions. & also consider getting some fun shots of yourself and perhaps your crew too! Beachfront, maybe?!?
With Love,
