Celebrating Saturday Love: From Seed To Story

Lovely! Fill your days with:

Choose to celebrate the gift of life through the peaks, valleys, and journey in between.

The moment we are born – we are a second closer to death. Breathing is not an indicator of:

Live with the end in mind. None of us know when we will depart so pursue what God has placed on your heart – even if you don’t know where to start.

This Bible scripture has been on my heart:

“A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth.” – Ecclesiastes 7:1

For me, this verse is a reminder to prioritize being a woman of character (not perfection – to be clear) and to focus on living a life of impact. One that brings God glory via my:

The pastor at the church I attend says that often and it has stuck.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.  If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. Serve out of the seeds God has buried within your being to meet the needs of those you are called to!

You may be in the dark on what exactly the plan is, but I believe God made it that way so we don’t botch it with our attempts to apply our limited understanding. Plus, it makes it so we have to cling to him to fulfill our assignment.

Shoot this Saturday, I hung out with an expert builder!

My first born son, King Caleb, is a lego expert. He loves to build and is really good at following instructions. I don’t like all the steps, but love the beautiful end results. I picked out a couple “Creator” lego sets from Target and we spent time:

one of them together. Some parts he did. Some parts I did. Some parts we did in unison.

Check out what we co-created and the message!

This is your nudge to nurture that big idea you have in seed form! Keep on watering it while you stay in God’s presence.

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” – Zechariah 4:10
