Oh, You Thought I Forgot

Absolutely Not! Ya gurl:

Is Here

Taking it back to The Golden Age! First….

I had to get out the cage of:

Giving An Eff

Like Ray J in his recent interview with Cam Newton (just saw some explicit clips and couldn’t stop laughing) – he got some “Give An Eff” teachers and they tried to talk to him about giving an eff and well – he had none!

Bahahahahahahaha!

I know Ray J be on one, One Wish (specifically), but he seems to be honest about his inner world!

Gotta let the effs go – to be A+ !

Yall, I love creating and just doing my own thing. Not constantly having to be on guard and tell people how to be. I just am free to be me.

This week, I left from being around a bunch of people and walked up on some stuff outside a warehouse. I decided to take some pics and just play!

Then I went back in time with my kids to a:

Drive In

The car was loaded with blankets, chairs, jammies, and snacks.

Did you know that back in the 50s and 60s there were about 4000-5000 Drive Ins in the US! Now, in 2025, there are about 300!

Oh, we enjoyed ourselves soo much! Got there at about 6:30 to get settled and to play before the first showing after sunset! As we waited, a worker came up to me and asked if I was dressed for a special occasion. I told her No. She liked my sparkly fit ($12 Nordstroms) and shared how she always wanted to wear her prom dress again! I told her to do it!!!

Who Cares! Live Fully!

I enjoyed pulling up into a dirt road all fancy!

Next time – will bring a foldable table, my own radio, and our own food!

I did end up changing out of the sequin dress (#wardrobechange) into something more snuggly, to play a card game and chase the kids by the big screen. … and of course, to be movie comfy!

It was a cool summer night – which made our experience even more cozy and chill!

Don’t let the summer end without tapping into some good ole’ classic fun! Consider taking your loved ones to a drive in near you! Get fancy if you’d like – just cause!

Let The Good Times Roll!

I found such joy leaving the Drive In at about 1:30am with the kids in the back sprawled out under blankets and chairs! That meant I understood the assignment to treat them to a good time! They fell asleep on the last movie (I took a nap during the first one).

My crew and I will be going back mid August to see Bad Guys 2! Shhhh! 🙂

When was the last time you “dressed up” in your regular day to day life?

When was the last time you went to a Drive In? Are you going to go to one this summer?
