Annoyed Into Action

Enough Is Enough

It’s hilarious how when I’m really like ” You know what, you’re disturbing my peace”….

I will take over the top action. Has this happened to you? Where you have gone from zero to 100 real quick – like Drake rapped!

One time, there was a mouse at my dwelling space. When I saw it scurrying in the kitchen I was jumping on counters, yelling for help, and modifying my behavior to avoid it’s presence. I was planning when I needed to:

in the evenings – before it emerged! What kinda sense does that make? (Hugs self with compassion 🙂 )

I feel like one time I saw it and my strategy was yelling “Die In Jesus name!”. Something like that. Although, there is power in Jesus name – > that did not make that mouse die or absolve me of taking action.

So I was like welp:

Gotta Handle This

Cause what do I look like being scared in my own home! Of a mouse?!?

So I went:

Murder Mode

I didn’t care about that mouse suffering. I wanted to get out of my own suffering.

I went to Menards and got a bunch of different traps! A variety! My kids were shocked at my obsession and were like:

Who are you!?!

Bruh! Sis! I got back to the crib and was laying sticky traps, mouse cages, mouse traps, and I think spraying stuff.

I was so excited about the obstacle course of traps! This mouse needed to get gone so a message could be sent to its homies! Can’t have them multiplying and thinking we about to share space!?!

That night the traps were set! Get this!

That mouse got stuck on a sticky pad!

Yep, it suffered. And – ehh. Don’t fret! When discovered, it was taken outside and hit with a shovel to be put it out of it’s misery.

Eventually, I was able to go back to chillaxin without constantly on high alert about these critters.

Fast forward forward to present day – and I still operate that way!
