Have you taken time to get to :
Know Yourself?
To peel back the layers on what you like….why you operate the way you do…
Something that I do is dissect my experiences, many times looking at myself and interactions with others from the outside. If you are interested in learning more about yourself – consider journaling and slowing down a little. When you sense your feelings or mood shifting -> get curious, as to why? Not in a be mean to yourself way – but to better understand your processing.
Consider questioning yourself:
- Are my operating patterns healthy?
- Am I just doing what I was taught or saw growing up?
- Am I operating in God’s best and design for my identity?
- In what scenarios, am I operating out of fear and not love? … out of a protect myself trauma response.
- Do I even know I have woundings? If so, can I name them?
- Am I actively unlearning and rewiring my brain through present day experiences?
Of course, this is not an:
Overnight Inner Makeover
There is so much that I am aware of about my own inner workings. This excites me! There is so much room to grow, but I’ve also grown a lot over the years.

Now the more I dissect my experiences, it’s like new puzzle pieces on me are coming in. I’m understanding more and more about why I operate in certain ways and that it is safe for me to express and choose different. and even if it turns out that it’s “not safe” – I have the tools and means to navigate that too.
Be gentle with yourself. You are very complex. You will never be fully in the know on you.
While on this journey prioritize getting to know the one who created you.
The God who made everything designed you – so of course you will never know everything there is to know about you – even though you are with you every second!
Kinda cool, huh?
Remember, you are “fearfully and wonderfully made” – Psalm 139:14.
Don’t you think you are worth getting to know – for real?
Stay curious,
