Should I pull a Snoop Dogg? You know the acceptance speech clip where at the end – he thanked his:
Own Self & God!
Bahahaha, it’s hilarious and real! To be clear up front…
I give all credit to God for getting me to this point and for sustaining me! He has given me the strength through Jesus to endure! There have been days where I have not wanted to show up.
But it’s like:
Do you want to create content full time or not?!?

We can’t say we want more and not show up to build!
I don’t want to go back to a 9 to 5.
I want to serve others by being my full expressive flawed afizzle self. I want to travel the world with my children and that be funded out of just being:

I joked about the Snoop Dogg clip, but he is right – he did do that. He had to show up. He had to push through. He had to love his own self! He had to be him even when ish was dim!
God has been teaching me that I have to do the same. This walk with Jesus is a partnership!
He will not drag us out of the comfort zone. We gotta want to be delivered into our next and take steps! God gave us feet yet we want him to move them for us? We not suppose to do nothing?!? If this was the setup – God would be diminishing his “fearfully and wonderfully made” creation (Psalm 139:14).
We gotta get out the boat, stay fixated on the target, and not doubt!
I coulda been stopped cause I don’t have a massive audience or because I don’t get pats on the back or because life is life’n!
I’m so locked in that the storms are irrelevant. They do not get in the way of me:
Publishing On This Blog
It feels soo liberating to know that I have this grit to be faithful.
I aspire to operate like a Menards! Set hours for people to be served – no matter what’s going on in the world at large or my personal one!
I hope that this post doesn’t get cataloged as some “good for her” ish and you move on.
This isn’t just a ‘good for her’ moment; it’s a ‘good for us.’ Because what I’m doing, you’re absolutely capable of too!
If you can scroll – you can certainly show up on your own roll call! Pick up, is anyone there?!?
Take this in and show up daily for yourself.
Stop the excuses.
How did I reach this point?
I decided.
Then I kept acting -even when I thought this is dumb.
You have to know when pursuing a vision that the day to day grind will have you being like forget this!
What helps me?
Having days where I just batch create so I can quit the other days…but it’s a fake quit…cause the content on that quit day is already scheduled to post.
Like the posts that went live this week were drafted up ahead of time. That way when I’m having a fleeting “over this” mood – posts publish anyway.
You gotta plan for your quitting!
For real!
You are going to want to quit especially when you are not seeing immediate feedback.
Push past that so your roots are anchored in Jesus and your God given identity – not metrics and visibility. Recognize you are chosen by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Why would you and I – ever chase? We are fully anchored, no pursue a vapor behavior over here!
And ooh wee am I glad!
Join me in this next 100 day challenge! For me, I am going to post for 100 days at 10am (a scheduled time).
If you’re thinking “Ehh, next time. I can’t do that!”. Take that thought captive and kick it to the curb. Pray and ask God to help you be disciplined and strategic. Ask him to strengthen you and move forward in faith.
Share in the comments below what you are going to lock into doing for 100 days! No Skips!
Moving Forward,
