I went to get bloodwork done at a holistic wellness center. Before they went to:
Draw my blood
they asked about my insurance. I told them.
They told me they don’t accept.
I was prepared to faith it and drop the out of pocket cost cause at this point…I understand…my whole life…is God’s business.
I’m a daughter of the king.
I could pay cash or go to another facility that would cover it.
I decided to go to the in coverage space.
The woman apologized and I told her God’s plan. Had I not come in I would have never met her.
I had to go find my insurance card…blah blah.
Was able to go to this other facility.
Blood draws for me are really somethin. ![]()
My veins appear small…but know they are mighty!
Thank you Jesus you are worthy!
The woman who was drawing my blood had to fill prob 10 to 15 vials.
She got in on one poke and got to filling. I talked to cope…as usual.
Talked to her about God and following Jesus and betrayal from “your own”…blah blah.
She liked my pencil accessories…I jokingly showed her my scissors earrings and told her you know for cutting peeps off and …..oh crafts !
We chuckled.
As blood was drawn…She was listening to me talk and told me I was suppose to see her.
She began crying.
The phlebotomist’s eyes began to mist!
I was feeling the Holy Spirit move on me.
I told her it’s okay to tell God you are upset and mad he knows…I talked to her on how I am not worrying about lab stuff…he either wants me here or I’m outta here. I told her I intend to live to 120 yrs young…right health…mind…wealth…even made a bday invite made that I keep on my bedroom door for days I want to quit. Told her that I look forward to living a long…but also count down to year 2108 with some of the battles I face.
She told me she could understand and be feeling that way.
I told her that we have to be in God’s Word.
I also told her following Jesus doesn’t mean being a pushover…sometimes it is…pull up…what’s really good.
We had talked about boxing earlier.
I encouraged her and then offered to pray with her.
She closed that door sooo fast!!!
I asked her if there was anything specific – she said no.
I flowed. Asked her if she followed Jesus – she said yes. I prayed for her strength, finances, and health in various areas.
Then dipped out. Told her if I don’t ever see her again to have a good life and hopefully I see her in heaven.
When you are being shuffled or seemingly inconvenienced as you adventure…get curious. There may be someone for you to minister to or perhaps for you to receive from…maybe both.
I’m thankful for this woman because she got me on one poke and kept me informed of progress as I looked away.

We had such a good discussion. Talked about being dependent on God and not people.
