Dollar Tree Display Unit: My New Snack Station MVP!

Hey Lovely! The other week, I was talking to one of the cashiers at my local Dollar Tree. I shared my interest in the:

Cardboard Display Cases

that they use to hold goodies (pointed to one nearby).

I inquired about their display discarding process. Told her that if they were going to toss any displays, I’d love a chance to scoop in.

Depending on the type – these displays can be used to hold snacks, art supplies, toys, even your own products (pending size).

She immediately talked to her manager and took my number.

A day or so later, I got a call. I missed it and returned it a cpl days after that.

I was wondering….do they still have it?

They did!

So I went up there with my daughter, Queen Glo, to grab it!

I didn’t get a super fancy one, but I was glad to be thought of! That is God’s favor!!! Might glue some flowers on the sides or something, maybe not. We go seeeee.

“Don’t move it, shh,shh,shh”

And she locked in on the mission!

Now, I have the display set up by my front door! I loaded it with snack bars and water bottles.

My fam bam can grab from there on the way out to adventure and/or we can hand goodies to delivery persons as they drop items to the porch.

Be warned, you may have to talk to your fam bam and your own dang self – about not running through the snack in a day (since they are visible & easily accessible) or slowly stock them.

I have a soft rule that snack bars are for when we are leaving to adventure. I keep a stash of snack bars in the dishwasher, utensil section. The kids know to grab them 1 or 2 snack barz and some water before we leave. Why? So they aren’t coming to me about “I’m hungry”. They are all empowered. Queen Glo often grabs one for me, such a sweetie!

(We hand wash only – so I am able to keep stashes of goodies in the dishwasher)

If you are looking for organization items – consider asking your local shops for any cardboard displays they may be getting rid of! You may end up excited like the kids who prefer to play with boxes over the toys that carried them!
