A cpl months ago, I went to an antique mall. I came up on a vintage booth with a bunch of painted rocks that had:

Jesus Is My Rock

delicately inscribed on them. The artist had painted on pink roses that actually reminded me of the pink peonies I recently picked up.

There were soo many painted “Jesus Is My Rock” rocks in that booth! Different sizes and shapes.

I wanted them all!

My sweet daughter, Queen Glory, was with me, so I had her pick out the one she liked.

I’m thankful that I don’t have to charge up this rock for “power” and carry it around for “protection”. Travel light while shining my light!

There are many who are misled and unknowingly weighing themselves down by collecting different types of stones, cleansing them, charging them, and carrying them. This is bondage wrapped up in falsehood and cultural trends, not true freedom. It looks cayute, but it’s like clamping a car boot on your soul.

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior – he is the only rock you will ever need.

He never loses power and doesn’t need an outside element to be charged up. In fact, when you are connected to him – you have that same power flowing through you at all times!

Let’s meditate on what is written in the Word Of God # Bible:

Greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

” I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.” Psalm 18: 1-3

Get to know the real rock, Jesus Christ, he paid a mighty price for you. Ask him to come into your life today, admit that you are lost and need him to save you from your own self and this fallen world (sin), confess that he is Lord of your life, surrender and follow him. This is a lifelong relationship and journey – where habits and ways of being that are not God’s best for you – will start to fall off as you move forward. You will be transformed through the power of Jesus Christ! Becoming a new creation, as it is written:

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5: 17-19

Renew your mind with God’s Word #Bible and surround yourself with Followers of Jesus (community who is truly seeking him).

If you have stones and/or crystals in your possession it’s time to let them go.
