This past weekend I was hiking with my kids. My daughter, Queen Glory,:

Fell

When she fell she immediately yelled out:

God!

I asked her why?!?!?

She told me, “Because I fell”.

She was telling her heavenly father that she fell down.

I smiled.

I then went to help her.

She said, “Why are you helping me? You aren’t God.”.

She is hilariously direct and genuinely curious. Oh, to be a child.

I told her, ” Yes I know, but God sends ppl to help.”.

Cry out and expect God to send help speedily. In Jesus, name!

Some falls happen due to others or unforeseen circumstances and sometimes our falls are our doing. We must take ownership of our part so we can truly be helped up and can stay up!

As always, my children prove to be some of my best teachers.
