Free & Functional: Your Aldi Organization Hack!

Are you ready to up level your organization, but don’t want to invest in the “fancy” containers!?!

I’ve got an:

that doesn’t cost you anything, but time.

Previously, in my linen closet, I had hair products thrown in tall solid plastic containers . Although I appreciated all those products being together -> I could not see them and understand the actual count.

This bin was an organized yet cluttered dumping ground.

Yesterday, I abandoned that method – which resulted in me having products on the floor.

I left them and wondered 🤔….how best to organize the items…?!? Cause I don’t want to be too locked into a container size…yet need the products to be supported so they don’t topple.

Today, while shopping at Aldi I thought hmm use those display boxes. I became very excited about this and explained what I was thinking to an Aldi employee. Typically, Aldi shoppers use boxes that are placed to the side for holding their groceries. This Aldi employee told me if I see a display ready case or box – on the shelf, I can take it…even if there are some items in it- just place the items neatly in another designated box.

After I did my grocery shopping – I went back into Aldi with Queen Glory to shop the aisles for display ready cases that would meet the needs of my organization project.

Yes!

I walked around and picked up the “Simply Nature – Non GMO‐ Linguine- Angel Hair” box! 😂🥳😆 I liked the height of the box, depth, and center divider. This “Angel Hair” case is now holding my hair products – (aye waist length hang time loading ☺️) – I appreciate that the case has tall walls to keep the bottles from tumbling and the divider for product separation.

I don’t care about cute right now – I care about functional.

I will come back later and make the box cayute. Probably will paint it and throw a label of some sort on top of the pasta name.

Again, if you are organizing consider tapping into the free organization materials at Aldi!

Join me in shopping their aisles for more than just food! Guess we’ll really be in there all day long! hehehe
