Sometimes it can feel like:
What’s The Point
Especially when you are doing your absolute best and things are….
falling flat. The only thing that comes to my mind is to:
Build Resilience
Almost to the point of numbing out obstacles and the pain of perceived failure. Focusing on tackling whatever challenge is before you and remaining curious on what’s next.
Many days I leap by faith into all types of endeavors believing that I’m going to jet set only to remained grounded.
I put action behind my faith expecting that the “work of my hands will be blessed (Deut: 28:12)” – only to feel like “Dang, was this another character development test?!?”. Cause where is the fruit? Where is the evidence that God hears my prayers and sees me? Sighs.
Father – Remember Me, Please!
I even told God today that I don’t feel these scriptures I have clung too and say out loud – are working. It’s almost triggering saying them – cause like where is the evidence.
Nevertheless, I go again like a little kid, a fashionable one – of course!

I know the one who created me – sees me – that’s what I have to cling to! What can humans truly do for me, unless God orders their steps and guides them to support my work?
Getting all:
Sappy About the Crappy
gets in the way of moving forward. Your rock bottom could go inception mode and thrust you even deeper into the pit of despair. Feel your feelings, but make sure to take time to be thankful and to enjoy the simple pleasures. We all are unified in the fact that we each have our own battles. Now the way we choose to handle them is where we differ.
I decided a long time ago to not cope through channels that can cause me to become dependent on this world, get me in further holes, or cause more unnecessary suffering.
What or who do you go to when you feel you are drowning? Is this the best choice you can make? Does it improve your world?
I hope that as you go into the week you take time to reflect on all you have overcome thus far and give yourself a pat on the back.
If Chris Gardner, whom the movie ” The Pursuit of Happyness” is based off , can go from homeless to millionaire – you can dare to forge ahead!
& yes, watching that movie tonight with my children made me happy. 🙂
Even if no world changing breakthrough comes from all my pursuits – being among the resilient and faithful is gift enough. I could’ve been quit – shoot you too! Yet here we are – reaching for our next.
There may be no external claps for your silent achievements, but know that your observant children will stand on the shoulders of your vision- and that will be felt for generations! May they go further than we ever do!
Let your “why” drive your pursuit!
Hugs to you!
Stay Locked In,
Lonisa
