Give: Project “Bill Motley”

Today at around 11 AM (CST) I encountered a homeless man and his dog as I left the TJ Maxx parking lot.

He felt:

Abandoned By God

because he hadn’t earned what he needed for the day to secure his night at the Super 8 motel across the street.

The managing peeps there know him so will let him hold onto his room longer until he gets the funds.

God led me to kick off an opportunity for those on my IG & FB to give!

Thanks to all of those who gave today!

One, two, three,….

FOUR HOTEL NIGHTS

have been funded!!!

Just look at the power of pooling our resources together in unity!

Out here being the hands and feet of Jesus and moving like the book of ACTS! #bible

May blessings and unspeakable favor flood the life of every giver for taking care of the poor!!!

Proverbs 19:17 – Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

Deuteronomy 15:11 – For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’

Proverbs 28:27 – Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse.

Now get this.

The homeless man, Bill, knows about the one night (5/8/25) that has been secured as he saw me pay for it – on behalf of the “Project Bill Motley” sponsors!

BUT he has no clue about the three additional nights!!!

Now just think he could be wondering…”How will Friday night or the days this weekend be covered?”

Meanwhile God and all of us over here know he can rest for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

If you are reading this and wondering if God sees your need – read the above to be encouraged that God still provides just as written in the Bible!!!

If any of you feel led to give further – it will go towards an Aldi giftcard – which I will get in small quantity increments of $20 and give to him gradually over days.

Today, once Bill got his need met for the hotel he stopped standing outside. He shared with me that he goes to get what he needs then stops for the day. He was content with having his hotel covered for tonight and $13 cash to get food for the day.

Talk about faith in God’s provision!

I have so much more to share – stay tuned.

Again, to those of you who gave thank you!!!

– Lonisa
