Do you ever just scroll to pass the time or help yourself cope with a nervous moment?
I do it often.
What if we replaced this habit with prayer and stillness…
Instead of filling the discomfort or silence with a doom scroll -> we cry out to the one who has the scrolls of time for eternity.

I have found this very comforting cause idk what I’m doing for real.
I was having a challenge today and was doing my best to overcome and still the challenge remained. I kept praying and taking action again – finally I got breakthrough.
Then that led to another adventure which got me to thinking that perhaps the challenges I was experiencing earlier were meant to occur so I could run into some ladies later.
This reminds me of the scripture that says to:
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
We may not understand why we encounter the roadblocks or challenges that we do – but let’s remain present, prayerful, and pursuing what is before us.
Prayer doesn’t have to be with worship music playing or in a closet somewhere. We can pray right where we are as we are going throughout our day. It’s a real conversation with God.
So just like we scroll or pick up the phone to spill the tea to a bestie – we can do that with God.
It’s a miracle that through Jesus we have this type of access – many of us will never meet the ones who lead the companies we work for or world leaders, but we get to meet with the maker of Heaven & Earth.
That is the best way to roll!
Love,
