You may be thinking:
Psh, Yea, Right!?!
I’m right there with you. Nevertheless, I cannot afford to think otherwise.
This is not an invitation to do nothing and just passively sit back. God has equipped us and empowered us to get wealth.
“You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

Personally, I have been doing the best that I can to generate financial breakthrough, cashflow specifically, and still I’ve fallen flat. Is that you?
- Have you applied to jobs and got nothing?
- Have you invested and not gained?
- Have you launched products and not sold?
If so, you are not alone. I am still with you. It sucks and does not feel good – especially when every time you step out – you believe you are:
Going To The Moon
But then the results point to ground zero and you end up going to your room to cry. I don’t know why this happens other than to humble us and make us truly God Dependent. I am writing this post because it’s my current experience. Perhaps, God wants us to know him directly as the source – not our striving or the channels that he allows resources to flow through.
Despite all that – I’m over it. So much so that I bought pens to carry the message, LOL.

It’s important to tell God the truth – be straight up, have a fit if need be. Be childlike – think of your toddler and pre-k children or those nieces/nephews/cousins. They have a way of being real matter a fact about displeasure! Pull a them on God! bahahahahaha he already knows!
You’re not my God, but here is one of my odds. I’m watching more of what I worked hard to build – go bye bye. For years I worked hard, saved, and invested. My life has shifted. I’m spending and not yet earning (again). I just pulled out 35k from my investment account – that I thought would be used for actual investments and not basic survival. It’s challenging because I’ve tried various ways to “stop the bleeding”, my vision keeps expanding, and the work of my hands seems to not be landing.
I continue to go to God and believe him for my provision. But it is tough as I’ve been holding this position for years. I feel like I’m being stretched back like a slingshot and my band of belief is about to break, perhaps that’s the moment great release will come. See how I start down…then go back to being faith-filled. LOL
I encourage myself by by meditating on scripture, speaking by faith, watching sermons, and listening/reading testimonies. Today, I watched an encouraging sermon called:
God Will Provide
I had to make myself listen to it and engage – cause inwardly I felt rage and trapped in a cage.
I feel a little bit better, but keep thinking – whatever, I surrender. I’ve been rejected, declined, ignored so much and have had to walk away, hear about those who have “harmed me” prospering financially and still just keep moving.
So if you find yourself in a bind – purpose to not lose your mind and to remind yourself that God is kind to all of mankind. It doesn’t matter how we feel or what we see – focus on the truth of who God is.

“He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19:
Let’s not focus on what has vanished in our lives, but on God’s provision that we are still living in right now.
I’ll go first.
- God has provided me with the ability to type fast.
- God has provided me with the ability to see.
- God has provided me with the ability to hear.
- God has provided me with a $1 that I found in the laundry today.
- God has provided me with the ability to walk and bend.
- God has provided me with the freedom to express myself creatively.
- God has provided me with the opportunity to “start over” in life.
- God has provided me with the ability to use my savings to cover my new chapter.
- God has provided me with a few people who will listen to my vents and encourage me.
- God has provided me with the ability to endure trials and tribulations.
God has provided and will continue to provide!
Just like my daughter trusts in me to care for her, know that God will do the same for you and I. We are his children, his sons and daughters.

Let’s be like children and sit down and watch our provider move. He has “long lasting rolls” of provision that never falls short. He is the Alpha and The Omega!
It is written:
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8
He is more bountiful than “Bounty” paper towels, the enormous “Quicker Picker Upper”! Even that is an understatement – he is so massive that there is no sufficient description. Our God is:
Jehovah Jireh “The Lord Will Provide”
Let’s absorb this truth by staying fixated on God’s Word (Bible) and not our circumstances.
He provided a ram in the bush for Abraham – he will do the same for you and I. Genesis 22
He provided his only son, Jesus, to pay the price for our sins – evidence that he will go above and beyond to do what we cannot do ourselves.
It is written:
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5: 6-8
Enourage yourself by meditating on these verses and others you find. Think about the scripture in Romans 5 , “at just the right time”, God moves when we are powerless.
So if you feel powerless and your trust is in Jesus – > you are powerFILLed!
It is written:
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12: 9-11
Your turn! List out the ways God has already provided for you. Think about the times in the past where you felt forgotten and he showed up! May it come back to your memory in Jesus name.
Share a scripture that reminds you of God’s provision in the comments.
Stay Expectant,
