Oh, Seasons Change

In this life we have to:

There are parts of our journey that we may despise and others that feel like a grand surprise.

It’s in our best interest to put one foot in front of the other while remaining unattached from the outer conditions.

Our focus should remain on Jesus not on the seasons that are leaving or approaching. They are fleeting.

In small talk, people often connect over the weather and tie their level of daily enjoyment to whether its hot…cold…rainy, etc.

Let’s not walk out our life that way, but instead :

whether conditions seem favorable or not.

Decide to remain anchored in the truth of God’s CARE-acter.

I’m reminded of these Bible scriptures:

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. James 1:2-4

And let us not be weary in welldoing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:0

There are times we will weep and times we will reap.

Lovely there is:

Stand firm in the gift of the present.

As written in Ecclesiastes 1:1-8

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die;

a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;

a time to kill, and a time to heal;

a time to break down, and a time to build up;

a time to weep, and a time to laugh;

a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;

a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.

Let’s stay rooted in Jesus at all times so we continue to blossom come rain or shine!
