Mhm, that question is for you! I know you are considered:
“The Strong One“
You make all that you juggle look easy peasy in these streets, but that doesn’t mean that behind closed doors you’re not
sobbing and screaming in your sheets! Perhaps, you really let it out and squeal like a hyena in the thick of the night or you have mastered that sniper silent tear stream that leaves your pillow damp. Does that count as a nightime moisturizer, hmm? Hopefully, it’s not part of your daily sleep tight routine.
What if we could all bottle our tears and sell it for a billi – split it amongst ourselves and chillax to the max (no credit card debt, of course)?
haha, all jokes aside in God’s Love Letter to us (#Bible) it is written:
You keep track of all my sorrows.
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book. Psalm 56:8
Take a moment to refresh your soul by reading that a few times, imagine your tears being poured out over the garden God has for you, consider reading that whole Psalm.

God made all of creation. We long for him! I saw a dove today near my dwelling place and it made a beautiFULL cooing call – reminding me of how God used a dove to signal to Noah and his kin that dry land had been found!
Hold tight! The waters have receded!
Whatever, your outlet is – know that God is not offended by your:
I’m Over It
sentiments. In fact, he has been waiting for you to keep it 100 hundred and be real.
Transformation follows radical transparency!
Those who came to Jesus for healing straight up told him their troubles and what they needed. They didn’t sugar coat.
You and I need to do the same.
We may be able to fake it with others and when they ask us, “How are you? -> we may give these classic lines:
- I’m Doing Good
- All Is Well
- Blessed and Highly Favored, The Head & Not The Tail, Above & Never Beneath. (laying it on thick, lol)
Gotta love us! I get why we respond this way -> perhaps we don’t want to dump our stuff on others and/or cause people can seem like they are wanting us to be okay and then be cray cray. We don’t know if they should really know -> cause if they did -> they might really take off in a sprint LOL….I’m joking, but not really…obviously there are those who will lean in and help you with your personal heavy lifts.
You don’t have to vet God and tip toe and cover up. He can be trusted with your messy. He already knows.
Come to him real. Come to him needy. Come to him clingy. Come to him weary. Come to him angry.
He blesses our God dependency with his resurrection power!
If you feel “over it” it’s okay to pin down your frustration. Release and surrender.
What are you laying down at the feet of Jesus?
