Yep – sure did pull up there last week with the kids!

Gave them a talk before going in like listen “Let’s walk around for at least a minute – don’t be obvi!”. Asked them if they understood – they all said, “Yep!”.

We got through the sliding doors and the show began -> you know the salesmen were in position…we were ready…

So I thought.

The kids discretely made their way to the hangout spot loaded with:

– candy

– ice cream

– coffee

Yea – they walked straight to the snacks. So much for the pep talk. I stayed committed tho…. I was flippin through rugs like “mhm, mhm, not payin’ for shiz!”. Saleswoman tried to talk to me about rug slippage, but I slid outta that chat real quick…..

By the time, I got in the spot – wrappers just everywhere! I’m like you ninjagossssssssssssssssssss! We not at the crib!

Stop acting normal! Clean up!

I was staring at one child loading cups of sugar into a tiny cup with 1 tbsp of coffee. They looking at me like, what I do? Why they gotta go next level with the adventures?!? & this was the child – who didn’t even wanna go on this mission! Yet, he was reapin all the benefits – that why I be ignorin their complaints!

Walked out about 15 mins later – with my coffee and candy.

As we exited, I told the kids – see how they thought we came for a rug, but we really came for snacks. Yea, that’s just how some people in life will do you. You think they came for X , but really they came for Y!

Stay wise, so you aint asking whyyyyyyyyy later.

Bob’s did have some nice pieces tho; I’m still enjoying the $1k plus couch I recently purchased from them.

Shoot, the sales woman who I purchased the couch from put me on game for how to come up on free furniture! LOL Favor ain’t fair! She told me to call in about a mark on the couch (can be somewhere discrete…) and that they would credit me with enough to buy something else. I whispered…”Aint that lying?!?” – she eye rolled me as I took down her cell phone to make sure she was someone I can depend on when the time comes – ya know, in case her..

Employment ends….

I do not recommend running this play weekly…perhaps quarterly, can’t impact the businesses snack budget, cmon.

Nevertheless, a Bob’s Furniture visit doubles as a great way to get your interior vision up while making it yummy for the fam bam (& your pockets)
