of their lives. Reminding us that there is much that goes on behind the scenes that is not glamourous.

Every blessing in life comes with challenges and conflict. Anyone, who declares otherwise is lying or straight delusional.

Here in the Unites States, February is extensively hyped with fluffy and gooey aspects of love! This is beautiful, but unbalanced. I decided to dive into universal romantic struggles by filming a monologue, I lovingly refer to as:

LUV-U-WEARY

Reel sized snippets of the monologue, presented in series format, have been dropping daily all February on Lonisa Mari IG.

Marshae shares her intimacy struggles and how she juggles the demands of life, sprinkled with insecurity, comparison, grief, and disappointment.

Marshae is a wife that steps into vulnerability by expressing her desire for increased intimacy with her husband. She shares her concerns, shows her appreciation, and reveals her discontentment, as does he (unseen).

Throughout this monologue, you see the universal struggles faced by many couples:

• lack of connection
• comparison to other couples
• competing priorities
• desiring to be seen
• emotional reactivity to spouse’s honesty

It is my hope that this monologue not only be edutaining, but offers individuals and couples the opportunity to reflect on how they show up in their relationships.
