My sons are enrolled in a theatre arts program. To assist them with their growth I ask them to:
Write 3 things
that they learned from class.
Following this week’s class, one of my sons asked me:
Does it have to be something my teacher taught me or can it be what I observed?
This gave me pause.

It confirms what I know to be true about learning.
That many of the lessons learned are gained not in what is said by a titled leader or expert, but by what is seen through behaviors and experienced hands on.
Learning is expansive, not restricted to an official lesson – it cannot be contained in a syllabus or guide book.
Learning pours out through every interaction.
Are we being attentive students?
What is a lesson you have learned through observation?
Let’s grow together, share below.
Love,
