“Go live your life and have fun” teachers!

My 2 sons are that for me. They hold me accountable for engaging with the world, not as a mother, but as a young woman.

There are times we are not together. During those times, they expect me to go play and not be texting them. Not because they don’t love me or miss me, but because they want me fully engaging in my own world – like I did before becoming a mother.

They’ve straight up told me to go take weekend trips and catch flights!

On one of their returns, they expressed disappointment in the idea of me only going to church and doing family errands.

They told me it makes them happy when I am having fun, not bored.

During our times apart, they expect me to get out and have fun.

A fun that is not centered on them. Grocery shopping does not count. 🤣

The fun has to be something active!

There are days where I don’t want to do anything.

There are days I don’t not want to leave my dwelling space (The Billionaire Bubble).

Nevertheless, I will push myself to go live beyond the four walls and the digital world.

My “Go live your life and have fun” teachers are pleased when I report back with my adventures.

I don’t want to disappoint myself or them by living a life that is blah!

These are some of the things I will do:

• Bowling
• Painting at a Pottery Shop
• Take myself out to eat
• Comedy Show
• Catch a movie (not super active, but still it’s something)
• Group Class

Different and more expansive fun will come. But for now this is within reach.

I have enjoyed the bowling and hope to start bowling 150 consistently! If you have bowling tips or videos I can watch to uplevel – let me know.
