If you say you are “fearfully & wonderfully made”, yet allow yourself to be continually

Disrespected

then you are saying something you don’t believe.

When you know you are a treasure you will not allow yourself to be

Tarnished

As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious,  you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. – 1 Peter 2: 4-5

Go to a museum with high-valued items. There is security to get into the building.

There is additional security in the high-value exhibit.

And this is on top of the cameras, wires, and enclosed cases.

You are more valuable than any man-determined treasure.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. – 1 Peter 2:9

 … knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold,  but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. – 1 Peter 1: 18-19

Jesus secured you for a mighty price.

Act like it.
