Hiding in God’s Presence: Finding Joy In Life’s Absurdity

In this meaningless life where we do stuff under the sun, set out to:

I encourage you to read Ecclesiastes. It’s a great book to consume at the beginning of the year as it focuses on endings.

It’s a look at life from the lens of an older wise man, King Solomon (most likely).

All his days were spent and he was like aight here’s the deal.

“There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God. . . . For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy” (Ecclesiastes 2:24, 26).

Don’t waste your life chasing all these things that don’t matter.

I remain alive after a painful detonation of core areas of my life.

John 16:33: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world”

I am thankful for every single experience …I guess 🤣…that’s the thing to quickly say to make others comfortable with suffering.

The greatest way to overcome and keep moving forward is to hide in God’s presence, enjoying what is before you.

Comfy pillows are from World Market. Cute balloon dogs are from Walmart.

There are days I tell God please takeover my life. Make it so I am here, but like you takeover. You have to fill me else it’s too much.

Stay present and playful! There is creativity all around you.

I highly recommend seeking comfort in reading and listening to Ecclesiastes.
