For this 2021 Trick or Treating round I decided to create a costume that resulted in a:

SPARK 

Over a spook! To top it off a few hooks were captured in a poem to accompany the DIY look.

My costume was inspired by the pursuit to shine bright despite the pressures and realities of life. 

As I am determined to not let my light go dim – I decided to be a walking reminder of what we are each created to be:

A STAR

To shine bright wherever we are – so that those near and far are reminded to do the same. 

It was fun designing this costume and performing the “Star Swing” poem. I hope that it encourages you to keep:
